You'll Get The Most Sparkling Clean
Furniture Ever,
And Why Shouldn't You?
This page will show you how to get the best
results:
How We Will Get You The Best Results:
First you and I will evaluate your furniture's needs. Every item
must be treated differently. Then we'll decide what will be the
best approach and why! Each manufacturer recommends a specialized
cleaning method, and best of all, you'll know up front what we can
and can't do! This way there's no surprises!
Here are some things to be concerned about furniture fabrics:
Furniture comes in various types of fabrics and it's important that
we determine what type it is. This gives us the ability to clean
it properly.
Even if you don't choose us, please be sure when you get a quote;
make certain that the company is taking this under consideration!
Something else to note: Clean your furniture before it looks
dirty. Furniture is not like carpets, so it cannot be saturated
and cleaned by just going over it several times.
Who's on the couch with you?
We've all seen those grossly enlarged pictures of the little eight-legged
creature that live on our soft furniture and in our carpet. So we'll
spare you the photo of the guy who makes us sneeze and wheeze-the
infamous house dust mite. That pesky mite is made of up to 80% water,
and thrives in a water-rich environment... in other words, a humid
environment.
These little critters (about half the size of a dot or period on
this page) feed on, among other things, dust and human skin scales
(which we unfortunately shed on a consistent basis). They can live
3 to 4 months, with about 20 droppings a day-that's over 2,000 droppings
in a lifetime. What's more, they can get nourishment from their
own droppings and may eat them up to 3 times over. Then the females
go and lay eggs-from 60 to 100 eggs a pop!
When we stir up all those droppings, it brings on the sneezing
and wheezing. We can also stir things up just by plopping down on
the couch. Go ahead and give the armrest on that comfy couch a good
slap. Did you see a little "poof" cloud? You guessed it-dust mites
and all their food-skin scales, dust, and droppings!
What to do?
Tests have proven that hot water cleaning at high temperatures will
kill mites. Portable machines may resolve part of the problem, but
the industrial truck-mounted equipment we use at Crowder Flooring
Solutions, LLC will annihilate those little mites. You'll breathe
easier, not to mention how much brighter and fresher your furniture
(and carpeting) will look and feel!
